Hmm. I don't have a Fry's nearby, but some quick internet searching indicates that I could get one for 60$ from wal-mart, which is accessible if I take my bike on the bart. It's more than I'd like to spend at the moment with my job situation being uncertain as it is, but not unreasonable. I'm going to try one more time to get this one working, but it's looking more and more like it might be time to set this one to rest.
