Productive procrastination is what happens when I plan out what I should be doing that day, and then immediately start taking care of 50 other, arguably important tasks, instead. Well, it's better than pure avoidance of what I should be doing, which is what I did yesterday.
And hey, my laundry is done, my room is pretty clean, and I went through the stack of papers that's been sitting on my desk for more than a week.
What am I avoiding? Working out and drawing. Yeah, why on earth would I avoid that?
I've also been rereading Steven Pressfield's 'The War of Art' a few pages a day.
(ugh I also need to cook some chicken that's been in the fridge a while, and go to the grocery...)
