So here's this thing I drew yesterday. Working on learning to draw people, or at least humanoid faces. It's different. At this point her face is my least favorite part, but it was enough to give me the lead-in for the rest of her. She has some character background and everything, but no name yet. I suck at thinking of girl names.

She's in love with a human boy but can only visit him in dreams he can't remember.
(And thanks to [personal profile] salamanderbones for this-
"she knows in a way that she has the best of him
he can never be false, for her, or compromised by the weight of lies and daily small deceptions
she knows and loves his honest, grandest desired and purest feeling
and somehow she protects that
he'll never know, but in a way every brave achievement he ever makes
will be his love for her")

Well of course I'm biased, but I think this is gorgeous! The downward curve of the flank/belly is very pleasing & weighty. In a strange way the attenuated body, tiny delicate physical features & big eyes/head give a very slightly Mark Ryden-esque vibe.
